    OUR SCIENCE

    THE AMINA COMPLEX™

A coordinated, multi-pathway peptide system. Designed to unite complementary cosmetic signals in one precisely engineered formula.

A formulation thesis — not an ingredient count.

THE AMINA COMPLEX™ is AMINATIDE’s formulation architecture: a disciplined way of coordinating peptide-led and complementary cosmetic pathways around the objective of each product. It is a formulation thesis — not an ingredient-count claim and not one fixed blend repeated across every formula.

    01

    INTELLIGENT SIGNALS

A multi-pathway approach to cosmetic peptide communication.

    02

    FORMULA COORDINATION

Complementary systems designed together for the product’s objective and sensory profile.

    03

    VISIBLE RENEWAL

Appearance-focused outcomes supported by product-specific testing.

    THE ACTIVES

    Five peptides. One architecture.

Every active in the foundational system is chosen for a defined role — and held to the same standard of evidence, stability and compatibility.

    Copper Tripeptide-1

    GHK-Cu

The regeneration anchor of SIGNAL 01 — a copper-carrying peptide with the most extensively studied history in its class, lending the serum its natural blue hue.

    Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4

    MATRIXYL

The structural signal — studied in a 12-week, vehicle-controlled clinical trial for the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

    Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5

    SYN-COLL

A collagen-inspired signal peptide supporting the look of firmer, denser-looking skin in SIGNAL 01.

    Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1

    MATRIXYL 3000

One half of the paired matrikine system in VEIL 02, supporting the appearance of smoother skin texture.

    Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7

    MATRIXYL 3000

The second half of the pair — studied together with Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 for the visible appearance of photoaged skin.

    THE EVIDENCE

    Published, peer-reviewed, cited.

AMINATIDE is built on ingredients with real published literature. The findings below describe studies of individual ingredients as reported by their authors — not tests of finished AMINATIDE formulas, which complete their own quality and stability program before launch.

    01

    Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4

A 12-week, double-blind, vehicle-controlled, split-face clinical study in 93 women found significant improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles versus vehicle, assessed by expert grading and instrumental image analysis.

Robinson LR et al. Int J Cosmet Sci. 2005;27(3):155–160. doi:10.1111/j.1467-2494.2005.00261.x

    Industry-authored; modest effect sizes.

    02

    Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu)

An 8-week clinical study of a 0.2% GHK-Cu formulation in 30 volunteers reported visible improvement in skin smoothness and the appearance of fine lines, measured by blinded dermatologist grading and 3D imaging.

Wang J et al. Skin Res Technol. 2026;32(8):e70360. doi:10.1111/srt.70360

Open-label; no vehicle arm; combined with a ferment extract.

    03

    Matrixyl 3000 (4%)

A peer-reviewed clinical evaluation of a serum containing 4% Matrixyl 3000 documented measurable improvement in wrinkle appearance using PRIMOS 3D skin-surface imaging.

    Li F et al. J Cosmet Dermatol. 2023;22(12):3340–3346. doi:10.1111/jocd.15849

No control arm; multi-peptide serum; brand-funded.

    04

    Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5

A 12-week instrumental human study of a multi-peptide formulation naming palmitoyl tripeptide-5 as an active reported improvement in the appearance of skin texture and firmness-related measures.

    Avcil M et al. J Cosmet Dermatol. 2020;19(2):328–337. doi:10.1111/jocd.13009

    Multi-active formula; no vehicle control.

    05

    Matrixyl 3000 pair (1% + 1%)

An independent academic study using PRIMOS and ultrasound instrumentation reported improvement in the appearance of periorbital wrinkles over 4 weeks with a formulation containing palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 at stated concentrations.

Hahn HJ et al. Exp Ther Med. 2016;12(2):1171–1176. doi:10.3892/etm.2016.3447

    n=20; open-label; multiple co-ingredients.

    06

    KTTKS — the discovery

The pentapeptide sequence behind Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 was first characterized in the Journal of Biological Chemistry in 1993 — the primary discovery literature for why this peptide exists in skincare at all.

    Katayama K et al. J Biol Chem. 1993;268(14):9941–9944. doi:10.1016/s0021-9258(18)82153-6

In vitro discovery work; no appearance endpoint.

These findings describe published studies of individual ingredients, at the concentrations and in the formulations tested by their authors — they are not tests of finished AMINATIDE formulas. Study limitations are disclosed alongside each citation. AMINATIDE products complete their own quality, stability and claims-substantiation program before launch, and consumer-facing claims are limited to the appearance of skin.

    QUALITY BY DESIGN

    Quality, by design.

Quality is a product-development system — not a vague luxury adjective.

    01

    DEFINE

Product objective, target consumer, claims goals, sensory standard and explicit exclusions.

    02

    FORMULATE

Ingredient quality, precise formula design, peptide coordination, preservative strategy and package fit.

    03

    VALIDATE

Stability, packaging compatibility, preservative/challenge, microbiology, safety and prioritized claims testing.

    04

    RELEASE

Finished-goods specifications, batch quality review, traceability and documented release approval.

    APPROVED LANGUAGE

What we say — and how we say it.

We communicate what the finished product can support — clearly, accurately and without overclaiming. Study design, methods and results are published only after final reports are reviewed.

The AMINATIDE Foundational System — DISSOLVE 13, SIGNAL 01 and VEIL 02 together

    One architecture. Three expressions.

The architecture expresses differently in each formula. DISSOLVE 13 expresses it through restraint — a rinse-off first cleanse kept deliberately peptide-free, because a cleanser cannot credibly deliver peptide performance. SIGNAL 01 coordinates peptide-led renewal signals in a silky-light serum. VEIL 02 expresses the same discipline through barrier-supportive comfort and lasting hydration.
